Harley Mintz
CEO
Harley is a former Managing Partner of Mintz & Partners and a former Vice Chairman of Deloitte Canada. He has authored numerous articles on accounting and tax subjects, as well as lectured at many universities across Canada. He has been recognized as an outstanding philanthropic leader and volunteer who has demonstrated exceptional commitment and achievement of innovative approaches to challenges in the community. Harley is an FCPA (Fellow of Chartered Professional Accountants), CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and CPA (Certified Public Accountant, US).
Steven Mintz
CFO
Steven has more than 30 years of experience as a Financial Consultant serving both private and public companies in a variety of industries (including manufacturing, mining, real estate and investment strategies). He has a strong background in venture capital and sits on the Board of Directors of numerous public and private companies, including Portage Biotech Inc. and International Medical Cannabis. He is a CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) and, formerly, a Trustee in Bankruptcy.
Sayf Hassan
VP Real Estate
Sayf is a real estate development professional with more than 15 years of experience encompassing the entirety of the development cycle, across a wide variety of asset classes and build types. He is deeply drawn to all aspects of real estate development, city building, urban planning, and architecture. Sayf has experience in land acquisition, development analysis, budgeting, planning operations, marketing, sales, construction, oversight, management and project closeout.
Jay Mintz
VP Investments
Jay has more than a decade of experience in financial services with both boutique firms and Canadian banks (RBC Wealth Management and Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets). He has a background in asset-based lending and proprietary securities trading. Jay has an MBA from McGill University.
Evan Mintz
VP Mortgage Lending
Evan has been working in various capacities within the mortgage industry for almost 15 years. Right out of university, he began working for one of the first “institutional” private lenders in the country and helped fund over $100 million in volume over his five years there. He then went on to co-found and become the broker of record for a successful startup in the fintech mortgage brokerage space.
Anne Marie Gallivan
Executive Assistant to the Chairman
Anne Marie has worked with Mintz & Partners, Deloitte and Minkids Group for more than 40 years. She has extensive experience in administration, office management and accounting.
